Lagos, NIGERIA – After eight seasons of bringing irreplicable magic to the pitch, the exit of Liverpool’s star seemed inevitable.

The thought of losing Mohamed Salah – known as the Egyptian King – brought despair to the heart of Liverpool football fans.

Undoubtedly the fans’ favorite, Salah scored over 240 goals for the club since joining in 2017 from the Italian football club AS Roma.

Salah’s goal scoring ability, dribbling and pace is a beauty to watch.

To the joy and relief of fans, Liverpool Football club announced early today that Salah would stay another two years.

Salah’s previous contract had been set to expire in June, when he was expected to leave the club as a free agent.

Salah had always said he wanted to remain at Liverpool and the club’s fans all over agreed.

The 33-year-old winger is a vital part of the squad who brings a potential goal scoring threat to any opposition.

As evidence, he is currently topping the chart for the highest goals and goal assists in the top flight of English football, the English Premier League.

After plenty of speculation about his future in Liverpool, Salah’s new contract means the reign of the Egyptian King continues.
